Community Outreach Specialist

Families First  is seeking a Community Outreach Specialist to  work part time and/or relief  time  in Brattleboro.   The right candidate will work well as a  team member and have experience with special needs.  The hours needed are listed below. Compensation is $12.00 per hour.  EOE


Community Outreach Specialist

Community Outreach Specialist is needed to support a quiet and active young man in Brattleboro.  It pays $13.00 an hour, is M-F 9-3 and pays a gas reimbursement of $7.00 per day.  Supportive team and a good working environment.

Home Provider/ Professional Roomate

Are you a fun, compassionate, strong professional who enjoys working with others? Families First is offering the right candidate a unique opportunity to live with a young woman in Brattleboro while providing her with in-home support, oversight of her medical needs and working towards goals of independence. The hired “Professional Roommate” would live in the clients home for a generous (tax free) income, respite/breaks and strong team support.

Seeking a Home Provider

Families First is a non-profit, forward thinking agency that serves children and adults with special needs in Brattleboro, Wilmington, and the surrounding communities.
We have a unique and exciting opportunity to offer to the right candidate. We are currently seeking a Home Provider to share their home with a 24-year-old woman who has special needs. This young woman can hear, but uses sign language to communicate. Her Home Provider must have some working knowledge of sign language or be eager to learn this skill!
We provide a dedicated team and a very generous tax-free stipend while you bring with you your enthusiasm, reliability, patience, and desire to support this young woman to live more independently.
