Employment Program

Career Connect

Families First's Supported Employment Program, Career Connect, offers assistance and guidance in all aspects of employment.

Career Connect, led by Certified Employment Support Professional Alex Tupper, utilizes the self-advocate's talents and interests to develop individualized employment plans. Plans may include coordinating and training job coaches, workplace accommodation, transportation, job development, skills building, and much more. The team aims to provide everyone with the support needed to gain and maintain meaningful employment.

 Job Club

Employed and job-seeking Self-Advocates meet up every week at Job Club. We learn how to navigate the workforce, build employable skills, discover post-secondary education opportunities, and more!
